This job involved the new construction of the First Bank Headquarters building in Augusta. The project consisted of a four (4) story structure with a structural steel skeleton. The First Bank of Augusta work also incorporated the use of concrete shear walls for construction. The First Bank of Augusta floor area totaled approximately 22,200 sq. ft. The interior first floor houses the daily banking
operations as well as some consumer loans. The upper floors house the financial services and administrative spaces of the bank.
The structure's skin consisted of a combination of brick veneer, synthetic stone, and E.I.F.S. The scope also included aluminum clad wood windows and a minimal aluminum storefront.
