The project at the PCS Nitrogen Augusta Plant consisted of the new construction of the change house and substation. In accordance with regulations, the building is completely blast-resistant. The exterior walls are 12 inch block filled with rebar and concrete. The scope of work included a laundry collection room, men and women’s locker rooms for fire
protective clothing, and epoxy flooring throughout. The building entry is comprised of a turn-style badge security system leading to a three-point locking door.
The PCS Nitrogen construction was completed one month ahead of schedule despite the seasonal rain delays.
