PROJECT DELIVERY METHODS

General Contracting

RWA provides traditional general contractor services through the design-bid-build project delivery method.  We are extremely capable and competitive in the bidding process due to our vast hard bid experience. RWA, once awarded the project, will effectively manage all of the subcontractors from beginning to end to deliver a quality project in the established time frame.

Design-Build

Design-Build delivery method allows for the contractor and architect to team at the onset of the project, permitting for all services and team members to overlap and be centralized with one point of contact.  Enabling the contractor to work with the architect and owner from the beginning of design means the owner will experience fewer project change orders, reduced waste, reduced project errors and omissions, assured coordination among project documents, and accurate scheduling.  RW Allen prides itself on its Design-Build services due to our strength in collaboration and communication.

Construction Management

Construction Management delivery method allows RW Allen to serve the Owner from design through preconstruction, construction, completion, and turnover, setting a guaranteed maximum price which is negotiated before construction. Construction Management has a strong emphasis on preconstruction and working with key subcontractors (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) in order to assure that respective trades have competitive pricing and understanding of the scope and project. Construction Management focuses on value analysis, scheduling, BIM and multiple estimating exercises before construction even begins.
